The Ludovika Free University
On the first two days of the festival, the Ludovika Free University will be at the center stage where internationally renowned experts, including American author Edward N. Luttwak, Charles J. Vörösmarty, and Scott Donovan, Director of the Budapest Chapter of the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), will give lectures about world trends in law enforcement, interrogation techniques, hydrology, and more.
Military Shows and Demonstrations
On Friday evening, Hungarian bands will perform at the festival, while visitors will have the opportunity to observe static and dynamic defense demonstrations showcasing various armaments and armored fighting vehicles, chemical defense demonstrations, and displays about military cyberspace and cyber warfare.
Family Day
On Saturday, visitors can participate in law enforcement and military demonstrations, including the Hungarian Defense Forces’ JAS-39 Gripen fighter aircraft and H145M and Mi-24 helicopters.
Conclusion
The Ludovika Festival pays tribute to Hungary’s historical Ludovika campus, having served as the officer training institute between 1808 and 1945.
