Hungarian low-cost airline, Wizz Air, has announced the resumption of flights between London and Chisinau, Moldova. These flights were previously cancelled due to security concerns related to the Russian-Ukrainian war. The airline has also introduced flights between Chisinau and Milan and Rome in Italy.
Flights between London and Chisinau
Wizz Air will operate flights between London Luton Airport (LTN) and Chisinau International Airport (KIV) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Ticket prices start from EUR 22.3 for the 2,180-kilometre journey.
Flights between Chisinau and Milan/Rome
The airline will also connect the Moldovan capital with Milan's Malpensa Airport and Rome's Fiumicino International Airport. Both flights will operate twice a week, starting on 14 December 2023. There will be two weekly services offered from Milan and Rome.
