Yes, anyone living in Hungary longer than one year with a foreign license must naturalize their license to a Hungarian license in order to remain on the road.
Foreign licenses must be translated into Hungarian and a medical certificate for B category driving license is required. You also need to present your ID, address registration card, resident permit (if applicable), and be aged at least 17 years.
If you're naturalizing a license from a country not participating in the Vienna Convention, you may need to take theory and practical exams.
